To spread the Fraternity charisma, Priest Gilberto and other people involved in the Fraternity creation embraced the main cause of formation of priests, religious men and women. For this purpose, on March 30, 1994, "Instituto Missionário Servos de Javé Salvador (IMSJS)" (Missionary Institute of Male Servants of Yahweh the Saviour) and the "Instituto Missionário Servas de Javé Salvador(IMSJS) (Missionary Institute of Female Servants of Yahweh the Saviour) were founded, both sheltering, respectively, the "Seminário Maior Nossa Senhora de Pentecostes (Major Seminar of Our Lady of Pentecost) and "Convento Nossa Senhora de Pentecostes" (Convent of Our Lady of Pentecost) - both being canonically erected on September 17, 1994 by Dom Fernando Antônio Figueiredo, Bishop of the Diocese of Santo Amaro - São Paulo - SP. The male servants institute admits boys proceeding from the Praying Groups of a great number of regions in Brazil; the Convent welcome those girls taking part in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal - RCC and who wishes to consecrate themselves to God in the religious life. These are youngsters who knew Jesus in these praying groups, by praying experiences, Life-in-the-Spirit Seminars, Cenacles, and other Church events. The male and female Yawists, in addition to the vows of chastity, obedience and poverty are also bound by a fourth vow, that of fidelity to the Pope even in his regular magisterial office. |
